Crib Goch is an infamous grade one scramble that makes up part of the snowdon horseshoe, and is not for the faint hearted. In nice weather it truly is an incredible day out with breathtaking views if you have a head for heights.

It has to be one of the best ridge walks in the UK, and walking carefully across the knife edge ridge is incredibly exhilarating. It was worth the ridiculously early alarm clock for this shot, and was a welcome reward for ascending Crib’s north ridge in darkness.
