A Summer Surprise

A summer evening in June was spent at Penmon Point, hoping for a glimpse of the elusive biolumenscent plankton. It was a beautiful evening, and although some sparkles were seen in the water, there was no spectacular blue show. As the sea faces north, I turned my camera around and to my surprise was able pick up the Milky Way. This image is 15 shots stacked together, and just goes to show you that you never know what you might capture, unless you try.
